The Chesapeake Entrepreneur Center (CEC) is an adult education and life-long-learning program of Baltimore City Community College.

The primary mission of the CEC is to offer students in the Baltimore region an opportunity to learn and be inspired about entrepreneurship. The skills learned at the CEC provide students a chance to become more desireable employees, or one day start a small business or microenterprise.

The 16-week course introduces students to all aspects of business development-- from office skills and basic book keeping to marketing and selling a product or service.

Outcomes are measured in several ways. Graduates may go on to start a business or they may seek out employement opportunities, but many have been inspired to futher their education in pursuit of their dreams.
